Beyond the current concerns regarding the scientific research and the teaching-learning-evaluation activity, specific to the teachers, it is appropriate to pay special attention to the creations of different nature. Successful careers are based on the recognition of merits. The phenomenon of plagiarism (CTRL+C & CTRL+V plagiarism, Remix plagiarism, Recycle plagiarism, Hybrid plagiarism, Mashup plagiarism) has become a mass one. The temptation of students, and beyond, to plagiarize has increased greatly in recent years.
The phenomenon of copying could be beneficial. However, graduate students have to be careful when copying. Any student who is subjected to an examination can be tempted to copy. There is a in of a surveillance system. Schools need to make sure that this phenomenon stops.

I think that it is high-time universities and teachers address the hard questions and discuss the values regarding the ethical use and triage of information. We need to make it part of the law curriculum somehow. I am sure our students have a lot of questions - and also many ideas - on this.
Of course, addressing the pathological side (i.e. sanctions and vigilance) is of course important, but we need also to take an active role in prevention and education.
